Updated: Sep 19, 2018

Need a way to season your meat or veggies and bring the flavor up a notch? This is the recipe for you!

RECIPE Sweet & Spicy Chicken Marinade

Ready in 15 minutes

Marinate overnight

Serves 8-10 people

4-6 chicken breasts or thighs (thawed)

2 tsp garlic powder

2 tsp dried rosemary

¼ c apple cider vinegar

2 ½ T mustard (can use regular, dijon, or spicy)

2 T Lemon Juice

¼ c coconut aminos (or soy sauce)

2 tsp Real salt

1 tsp black pepper

½ c olive oil or avocado oil

*Use Organic ingredients when feasible

  1. Add all ingredients together in a bowl. Whisk until combined.

  2. Place marinade in a ziploc bag, and then place chicken in the bag. Let marinade for at least 5 hours but I like to do it overnight if possible.

  3. When ready to cook just take out of the bag and cook as you like. It’s really easy and really tasty! Enjoy

Make sure your chicken is thawed, and not frozen so it doesn’t make the marinade runny from the excess water.

Can also add a little red pepper flakes if you like it a little more on the spicy side.
