Buying your spices in bulk is going to be far more beneficial in the long run, they will last you a long time and are less expensive. That's why I always make my own blends of spices to have on hand when needed. They add flavor and depth to all of my dishes and can be easily re-made and re-mixed when I run out.
This recipe also is free of any added sugar, chemicals, preservatives or MSG that you would normally see in a grocery store taco seasoning packet. So you can rest assured that you are using clean ingredients to feed your family.

RECIPE Homemade Taco Seasoning
No added sugar, preservatives or MSG
Ingredients
½ c chili powder
¼ c onion powder
1 TBSP garlic powder
¼ c cumin
1 TBSP paprika
1 TBSP sea salt
Preparation
Mix all spices together in a mason jar and use on any recipe that calls for a taco seasoning.
Store in an airtight container at room temperature. Use about 2 1/2 TBSP in recipes that call for a Taco Seasoning packet.
*Use organic ingredients when feasible

I like to make a double batch this and put it in a mason jar, it lasts me a long time and I’m using the best ingredients possible.
